granted to Mary by patent 30 Jul 1742, lying in fork between Bush and

Rivers and includes the land where Mary and James Now live.

in it's territory, Sandy River and Buffalo. At the vestry meeting which

Garden as minister, Richard Rutledge was elected sexton at Sand River

Francis Rice at Buffalo. Judith Rutledge succeeded her husband as sexton
at
Sandy River in 1757.
