Richard, et al,
So glad I didn't unsub from Rutledges while away. Have just gotten back
and found all data on Va. Rutledges and all the connections everyone is
finding, and am trying to post it all to my data. I am still sure that
my line connects in some way with Richard's (too many matching names not
to be linked. The posting of Rachel, however, showing Littleberry, son
of Joseph and Mary Paschal Rutledge, the birth date would not match up
with my Littleberry. I have Littleberry Rutledge, married to Nancy
Farmer, m. 12/30/1812 in Lunenburg, Va. as the parents of my Parthenia
Hardin Rutledge, and if this is the same Littleberry as a son of Joseph
and Mary Paschal, then he would have been born about 1790. I also had
three additional children of this family (a Filbert, a Leah and a John
Anderson Rutledge,) These three were included in an e-mail message I
received from a Jeanette Taken, I received back in April on Rutledge
line. She only showed the three children (William, James and Joseph) as
sons of James and Sarah. If I remember she was showing them as children
of Mary not Sarah. If these three can be validated or if added in
error let me know. This was definitely a large family.
Will definitely be watching mail for any additions on this hunt, as I
know there are links here. For one, the wife of Blanks (Polly Clay) may
possibly connect on my Snead line as a Martha Patsy Clay from Amelia
Co., b. abt 1765, in my line married a Samuel Snead, Jr. on Jan 4, 1786
in Amelia Co., Va. This Samuel is a brother of my Archibald Lucas Snead
who was grandfather of the husband of my Parthenia Rutledge. Keep all
this coming. My printer is not working at this time so entering all
this data will definitely take some time, but is surely worth it. Holly
M. Snead
