Greetings:

In November my cousins unearthed 1891-1916 correspondence and family
genealogy notes that verified our roots clear
back to James Rutledge of Lunenburg VA. And similar identity and clues for
our Melissa Ann McCay Rutledge, not quite as clearly.

James b. 1670s?, spouses Sarah? and Mary? Family lived Lunenburg & Amelia VA.
Joseph b.c.1744 VA and Mary Paschal
Littleberry b.c. 1785 VA and Nancy Farmer
Joseph b.c. 1814 SC and Melissa Ann McCay b. 1823 SC md. 1839 GA
Parthena Harden Rutledge b. 1855 AL md. Geo.Wash. HANCE b. 1848 TN in AZ 1878
Partheny Josephine Hance b. 1879 AZ md. John James REDDICK b. 1879 CA in AZ
1903

We are working on searching out and verifying data to build Family Group
Records for the generations and families of Littleberry and Joseph.

Seems intriguing that this James, and mysterious brother Thomas may be
connected to MD!!! Maybe a HUGE bunch of us
are truly related then, rather than waiting to trace back to Noah.
