Geri.....I can only assume that you checked out the Ryerson genealogy on
this one.
Don't look for Cobb.....but rather Theunis/Tunis Ryerson. There are several
possibilities....daughters who married with no further information.
(look at that note on page 37....to look under one of Franz's lines...that
might be it!)
The name Bowlsby caught my attention....but I can't pin it down in my
head -- where to look.
I'm very busy this week so no time to follow up further. But you're good at
that!!
Good luck--
later....phyllis on the run.

Geri,
Saw your posting in the Sussex County Geneaolgy Forum re Ryerson. We
are trying to find out where my husband's greatgrandfather came from.
His name was Thunis (or Tunis) Ryerson Cobb and he was born Dec 20, 1817
and died May 8, 1873. I suspect that Ryerson was a family name and
might be a clue as to his parents. He lived in Parsippany NJ being
married first to Sarah Ann Bowlsby and then to Mary Ann Cole. It was
Sarah Ann's family's farm they lived on so I suspect he may have come
from elsewhere in NJ. If you have any info re Ryerson's that may help
us trace Tunis it would be greatly appreciated.
