Hi everyone
I've just subscribed to this list in the hope that someone might be able to help me prove a family story that my 2 x great aunt, Eliza Spackman (b 1847, London, died c 1937, London) was nursemaid in South Africa to the family of Alfred Dreyfus of the 'Dreyfus Affair'. I've no idea how to go about finding this information and would greatly appreciate any pointers.
