I am doing research on my great uncle John Lawrence Cohen. He served
with the British Army or Royal Engineers during WW1. After recovering
from malaria in Durban, he was attached to the newly raised 10th South
African Horse and sent to Kilwa. I've had him researched in England but
we can't pin down exactly which John Cohen he is. Having just unearthed
his diary and learned about his service record, I'm hoping to find new
sources in South Africa. Can anyone offer a suggestion?
