Dear All -- in looking over old notes i found that our Jeanne Strong was
in London at the Public Record Office on Chancery Lane and found our
g/gfJohn Strong on the Hopewell with family 1665. on a special item
unknown before - transcript made "it is #58B on shelf 8 , entailed
"Index to Ship Passengers to the American colonies, Exchequer K. R.
1618-1668" - copied from the old parchment Port Book E 190/876/1.
I'm sure our English cousins have checked this thoroly but I wonder if
you close to Salt Lake could find those records there?? Might be good
for us to know - especially for the wives of our ancestors.
