You may already know of this site, but it was new to me and thought that I
would pass it on. Library of Congress, American Memory. Fully searchable
and has original documents as well as transcriptions. Mostly late 1700's
and early 1800's. Lots of Rev. War and early Continental Congress and House
and Senate Journals.

Found 21 documents with SACKET and 79 for SACKETT. Lots of Richard and
Nathaniel Sackett including letters from George Washington.

Try anyone involved in the Revolution. I was surprised at the new
information that I discovered about many of my ancestors.
