Dear List: In answer to Chris's recent note, I have the first two volumes
of Peter Coldham's Complete Book of Emigrants (1607-1660 and 1661-1699.
There were two listings for Stolyon/Stolion.
page 234 of the first book, 1647, May. Probate of will of Jane Stolion
of London, widow, who died overseas having goods in New England. (EEAC).
EEAC refers to "English Estates of American Colonists (Vol I)", by Peter
Wilson Coldham. Baltimore: Genealogical Publlishing Co., 1980
page 372 of the second book, 1680, November. Administration with will of
Thomas Stolyon of Warbleton, Sussex, who had goods in New England. (AW).
AW refers to "American Wills and Administrations in the Prerogative Court
of Canterbury 1610-1857", ed. Peter Wilson Coldham. Baltimore:
Genealogical Publishing Co., 1989.
I will check out the Sackett inventory dates as soon as I can get to the
library (next week, hopefully). Carolyn
