Hannah and Robert left MA soon after their marriage to go to Bombay,
India. They were missionaries in Bombay, India for the American Board

Robert became ill in 1854 and was on his way home with his family when
he died.
Hannah raised her six surviving children in MA and CT.. She was able to
send Robert Allen and Edward Sackett (my gggrandfather) to Yale
University. Both returned to India as missionaries and spent their
lives there. Robert Allen is cited in "Who Was Who in America" vol 1.
Both had illustrious careers. I would like very much to know more about
this remarkable woman.
