Liesa:
I would be interested in having the information you have for Joseph Sackett in the War of 1812.
I have a copy of some pages from a book "Roster of Ohio Soldiers in War of 1812"
On page 100 there is reference to:
"Pages 150-151-152.
Roll of Capt. John Clark's Company (Probably from Green County).
Served from October 18, until November 20, 1812, and from August 10, until September 5, 1813"
Among the list of Privates is a Joseph Sackett and a Joel Lewis.
I had surmised that Joseph Sackett was the 18 year old son of Cyrus Sackett of Greene Co., OH. and that Joel Lewis was the brother-in-law of Cyrus Sackett.
[For others interested in those connected to the family of Cyrus Sackett, there is also an Ensign Boston Hoblit.]

Does any one know of Joseph Sackett who was in the War of 1812? I get
the feeling he is related to my Mary Sackett supposedly daughter of Capt.
John Sackett, but I am not sure how. I have a copy of his Pension record. If
anyone wants a copy after I have scanned I will send it to you just it
