Dear Nancy,
Just a quick note. If you are referring to the marker for Richard Sackett -- it's not a plaque. It is a stone marker, much like you would have
in a cemetery. I saw it and photographed it a few years ago. The town historian, Ken Hoadley, I believe, took me all over the place and pointed
out Sackett locations. He warned me not to touch the stone, which surprised me, until he told me the weeds growing around it were poison ivy!
So, I didn't touch it! I'm going on a trip, but when I return, I'll search for the photo and send it on to you.
