Liesa:
My census project has been somewhat in limbo since my eye surgery. I am going to town today to get my new computer glasses which will help considerably in my ability to work at the computer.
I had been editing the census info to create comma delimited files to import into a spreadsheet or a database and then discovered that a tab delimited file will also work, and doesn't take as long to create. And, of course, the info can be exported from the spreadsheet in either format.
Right now I am thinking about uploading the census information I have to my freepages site so that others can see what I have, and the format I am using. That way those who have census info that I do not have can send it to me to add to the census data. And those who have identified the individuals in the census can give me the Weygant number, or the connection to individuals in Weygant's book.
The censuses I have worked on the most have been those for which Ancestry.com has an index and the 1880 census info that was sent to me. So, anyone with census info for the other years can send that to me.
