OK, I did find one or 2 mentions in Thetford records about William
mostly witnessing records for Jonathan Nichols who was married to
Phrene Sackett. I have thought he was the brother of Phrene. yes?
Will take a look for Leonard later this evening.

William lived at Thetford, Orange Co., VT from 1788 to 1805 when he moved to
Aurelius, Cayuga Co., NY.

BTW: I received a query about a Leonard Pleune (b. 22 Oct 1902). He married
22 Jul 1932, Alice Irene Shepard in Spokane, WA. I'm wondering if he shows
up in the 1910 or the 1920 census?
