Thank you for the additional information for the Alvord family.

I also have Clara's father as Filer Sackett. The name Philo is in the book
which Barbara gave as a source for Clara being married to an Alvord rather
than an Atwood. Sorry I didn't make that clear.

The only record I have seen where Filer is listed as Philo is the 1790
census for Orange Co. VT. The probate records for his father's estate lists
him as Filer and when his uncle, Reuben Sackett, was established as his
guardian; his name is given as Filer on the guardianship bond.
