I was happy to find the Sackett information on the internet last night.
My connections to both this Sackett family was missed by others
because of my ancestor not being in the household in 1850. His name is
Addison Harrison Lee. His father was John Lee and Eliza (that's as much
as I knew before finding the Sackett website where this is John C. Lee).
Eliza, according to the Sackett Family website was Eliza Sackett
daughter of Azariah Sackett. I have been to Huntingdon County, PA
recently and have a digital photo of John's will where Addison is given
as his son as well as the fact that Stewart W. and Alvaretta, other
children of John Lee and Eliza, appear in his household in one census.

Now, the curious thing is that I originally went looking for Azariah
Sackett on the internet, not because I knew he was Eliza's father, but
because he, his wife Elizabeth, and son Robert L. are mentioned in
Elizabeth Fayres (Feris--various spellings) will. She was married to
Robert Lee who died in 1803 and then she remarried. The Elizabeth
Fayre/Feris will specifically mentions that she is formerly Elizabeth
Lee as well as that information given in AFrica's book. However,
Elizabeth mentions no relationship to the Sacketts even though she
bequeaths to them. I had wondered if Azariah were her brother or
something, but I don't see that kind of connection. But it seems
strange to me that John Lee would marry a Sackett and his grandmother
Elizabeth Fayres/Feris would be close enough to the family to leave them
something in her will--unless there were some closer relationship for
her, too.

I'd also like to know what the source is for the John C. Lee and Eliza
Sackett marriage. I didn't find that evidence at Huntingdon County when
I was there....I'd like to know what I missed...or maybe they were
married in another county.

In Elizabeth's will she does say that she is in Warrior's Mark when
writing the will, but formerly of Hopewell twnshp...which does seem to
indicate to me at least that maybe she had moved to be with family.

Addison Harrison Lee married Nancy A. Magee
Their son, Ira Newell Lee married Mary Elizabeth Overbeck
Their son Ira Newell Lee Jr. married Edith Louise Olson
Their son Robert Allen Lee b. 1935 is my father
