Hello Patti;
I did some checking in my files after receiving your note and seeing this
post to the SACKETT-L.
There appears to be a definate connection between the Harrison family and
the Sacketts. In my 1850 census files I have:
Sackett, David [W #757] [Brother of Azariah A. Sackett]
Year: 1850; State: PA; County: Butler; Township: Venango
Roll: M432_760; Page: 343; Image: 677
196/602
Sackett, David, 66, m, farmer, PA
[Sackett], Margaret, 51, f, --, PA
Sackett, Jane, 38, f , --, PA
Sackett, Elizabeth, 27, f , --, PA
Sackett, Harrison I., 25, m, farmer, PA
Sackett, Sarah A., 23, f, --, PA
Hughs, John , 11, m, --, PA
Sacket, George [W #1849-George H. Sackett]
Year: 1850; State: PA; County: Clarion; Township: Elk Twp
Roll: M432_767; Page: 236; Image: 473
939/951
Sacket, George, 36, m, clothier, PA
[Sacket], Sophia, 24, f, --, PA
Sacket, John M., 3, m, --, PA
Sacket, David H., 2, m, --, PA [W# 4553-David Harrison Sackett]
Sacket, Marietta, 3/12, f, --, PA
Sacket, David [son of W #758-Azariah]
Year: 1850; State: PA; County: Clearfield; Township: Clearfield Borrough
Roll: M432_768; Page: 309; Image: 50
Sacket, David, 32, m, cabinet maker, PA
[Sacket], Phebe, 28, f, --, PA
Sacket, Fredrick, 4, m, --, PA
Sacket, Mary, 1, f, --, PA
Dugan, William, 24, m, carpenter, PA
There are two Sackett sons listed who had HARRISON as part of their given
names and it is possible that George H. Sackett's middle name was Harrison.
I don't have the LEE family in my census files and I don't have the 1860 or
1870 census for any of these families.
I would love to have an image, or transcription, [or both] of John Lee's
will to add to my Sackett files. If an image is sent, it would need to be
sent directly to my email address because attachments cannot be sent through
the Roots Web mailing lists.
Thurmon
