In the will of Cyrus Sackett he says:
"... dispose of the residue of my land
and all my personal Estate at public auction as soon as practicable
and devide the proceeds thereof equally among my heirs, that
is to say, to the children and heirs of my deceased son
Joseph Sackett one Equal Eighth part, to my daughter
Sarah Hand one Equal Eight part, to my son Samuel Sackett
one Equal Eight part, to my daughter Anna Hoblett one
Equal Eight part, to the children and heirs of my son
Cyrus Sackett junior one Equal Eight part, to my daughter
Aner Paige one equal Eight part."

The proceed s were to be divided into eight portions with the children of
Joseph dividing one eighth of the proceeds. If there are documents giving
the distribution of the estate, there would be a listing of those receiveing
the proceeds. This could be a possible source for finding the names of the
children of Joseph.

Mercer Co. census. Known children are: Mary Sackett b. Feb 25, 1817 Green
Co., OH; Samuel Sackett b. 1819 m. Zoah Ann Gallaher and moved to Adams Co.,
IN; Mercy Sackett b. ca 1820 m. John C Murphy & lived in Miami Co., OH (when
& where did she died?); John Sackett b. 1825 m. Eliza Clevenger & lived in
Greene Co., OH & Leticia/Lutecia Sackett b. 1827 m. Benjamin Vaughn & lived
in Montgomery Co., OH (when & where did she die-after 1902 Greene Co., OH?)
My main question is- Who were the other 3 daughters and who did they marry?
The newspaper also states that after her mother died, she & her brothers
struggle!
