Hello,
I am researching my GGGrandfather, William SAGAR who was born in England
abt. 1825.
William Sagar married Sarah Wood April 27, 1845 in Tenbury, Worchester,
England.
His father's name on marriage certificate is John Sagar (Seagar). William
and Sarah
came to America in Oct. 1846 and Sarah delivered their first child, Thomas
Sagar
3 days after they arrived in America in Pembroke, Maine. William and Sarah
Sagar
then settled for awhile in Allegheny Co. PA. By 1860 they had moved and
settled in Lawrence Co. OH. Would love to find out any information about
William Sagar's parents or siblings. Would like to share information.
