Saint Listers:

I posted photos of the grave markers of Saints in Riverside Cemetery,
Marshall Co., IA at the Iowa Genweb Special Project page Gravestone

Included here are the marker of the parents of Thomas Cook (Thoms Y.
Cook and Catherine) who married Millicent Saint.

Also is Charles Logan Husted and Washington Franklin Husted and Mary
Elizabeth Saint, his parents.

In the introduction to Union Cemetery book compiled by Dorothy S. Jones
she writes:

"In 1851 Samuel T. Saint acquired the N.W. 1/4 of Section 13ยท, and
about this time a family crossing the country had a little girl that
took sick and died in the Saint vicinity. Samuel Saint gave a plot of
ground, 13 rod square, in the N.W.1/4 of Section 13 and this is the
north part of Union Cemetery. The little girl is buried in this plot.
There is a marker north of where the Saint children are buried, but it
has no date or name. There is a possibility that this could be her grave.
The oldest dated markers are of the children of S. T, and H.
Saint, buried in 1854."

I lost my photos of these two children's grave markers, Charles W. and
Thomas P. Saint. In 2001 I visit this cemetery again to get new photos
and the markers were missing.
