catherine - to my knowledge people speak in tongues at all pentecostal
church services. this practice dates back to the day of pentecost, still
recognized as an official holiday in many european countries. in my view
pentecostal believers for the most part are among the most devote
christians. should you find an assembly of god church in your area, attend
a few services, and talk to members of the congregation i believe you will
form a different opinion.

Have any of you gone to a church service where people start "Talking in
Tongues and Rolling on the Floor and some shaking and having spasims? This
kind of behavior goes on in Churches today. Whatever it is, it is scary and
unnatural to me. I would believe these people in league with the Devil even
today.
