Seeking information on the family of Van Hewlett SALTER and Nellie Kathleen SPARKS, of Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama. He was born 4 Feb 1897 in Winston County, Alabama and died 19 Aug 1940 in Birmingham? She was born Mar 1899 in Alabama and died 29 Jun 1940. Nellie Kathleen SPARKS is kin to my SPARKS and DUTTON families.

Their children: Hewlett Erskine SALTER, James Herman SALTER, George David SALTER, John Allen SALTER, Arthur Joe SALTER, Nellie Mae SALTER, Mary Elizabeth SALTER, and an unknown infant daughter born ca. 1940.
