Hello everyone: This is a repost of my mail of 11-1-98 with some additional
information and some corrected dates. I found a Sample researcher in MO, no
e-mail,that had the below listed Samuel Sample(s) in their tree. They have
the elder Sample, Samuel 1785-1861 born in Ireland, married to a Catherine
King, a French Canadian, and having three children: Samuel 1824-1909;
Henderson 1830-1916; and Sarah M. 1834-?. The child Samuel was born in
Blacklock,
Lancaster Co., PA,; Henderson and Sarah born in Oakland/Distant, PA. All
this makes me want to think that my Isabella below was a sister. I've mailed
a regular letter to the researcher to see if they have any more information,
and was wondering if any of the above/below rings a bell with someone on the
Sample list? I also have a lot of descendant information on Samuel Jr. and
Henderson compiled by the other researcher if anyone is related.

SAMPLE, Isabella, b. 5-7-1821 in Lancaster Co., PA; died 1-28-1908 in
Armstrong Co., PA.; buried Oakland Cemetery, Distant, PA married
CRAMER, John b. 12-20-1816 in PA; died 1-21-1889 in Armstrong Co., PA.

Isabella's death certificate says her father was SAMPLE, Samuel, mother not
listed. There is a SAMPLE, Samuel in the same cemetery as Isabella, b.
1785. d. 1861, but don't know if this is the correct one though the dates
work out. I know that John and Isabella were in Armstrong Co., as early as
1854 when one of their ten children was born there. Don't know anything else
about the SAMPLE line at the moment, Isabella was one of my gg grandmothers.

For those of you that may not have the information, below is a list of the
SAMPLES buried in Armstrong County,Oakland Cemetery, Distant, PA 16223 as of
abt. 1986:
