Regarding the information that Lee Hoover sent from her files that was part
of a copied manuscript entitled "Ancestors and Descendants of Henry Simeon
Saunders" by R.S. Sanders. - - -

Some of this information is in dispute. I covered much of the recent
history written by Howard K. Sanders in several issues of SANDERS SIFTINGS,
a Sanders/Saunders newsletter I publish. It followed this same line from
John Sanders the eldest son of Lawrence Sanders (Laurence Saunders) the
martyr. However, in a later issue (Oct 1997) I published extensive
findings of Paul Saunders that discounted this because of considerable
circumstantial evidence that Lawrence had only one son and no other
children. Paul thinks that this must be ANOTHER Lawrence Sanders and NOT
the martyr.

Would be glad to get any other input on this matter.
