Hi,
Since there is no date of your Romulus it may be in the following:
William Saunders (no DOB available), a son of William Saunders and "Miss
Adams", was a member of the 1st Provincial Congress at Halifax. He was
first married to a "Miss Mitchell" and second to Nancy Cunningham.
There were at least eight children born of the two marriages and Romulus
Mitchell Saunders was evidently born of the first marriage. Romulus
married (1) Rebecca Pine Carter at Caswell, NC and had five children. He
married (2) Anna Hayes May 1823 and had four more children.
I believe Romulus died in Smith Co.Tenn as did his father,William
Saunders. William's will is on file in Smith Co. Tenn. Will Book
1812-1814 p. 257. I have not checked to determine if Romulus had a will
in Smith Co. Tenn.

I hope this will help you as there aren't too many named Romulus and it
apparently runs in the one family.
