Seeking information on Garrett S. Sanders (born 1851)who was in Columbia
County Florida in 1890. He was in Alachua County near the town of Bell
in 1899. On his son Hiram Ashford Sanders death certificate it states that
Garrett was born in Mayo, Lafayette County Florida. Garrett's wife was
Virgina Douglas and on the same death certificate it states that she was
from Mississippi. Garrett and Virgina are buried in the Jennings Lake Cemetery
near Trenton Fl. I have not been able to find him on the census records
in any of these counties. His children were Hiram Ashford, Leamon, Edgar
Daniel, Bessie who married a Thomas, and Ida who married a Wilkerson.
