I tried this site for a listing of my gg-grandfather, Pvt. Jeptha Tandy
Mitchell (father of Emma E. Mitchell Sanders) of Company K, 13th U.S.
Kentucky Infantry, and was disappointed that it had no listing of him. I
also tried to find the 13th in there, but also with no positive results
though the 13th Kentucky (Hobson's Regiment) fought from Shiloh to Savannah
with General Sherman.

I stopped by his grave, today, in Worthville, Kentucky, as I passed through
Carroll County on my way home to Illinois, to put some flowers on his and my
gg-grandmother's graves. I hope that strange noise I thought I heard, was
not him spinning around, down there, beneath his 13th Kentucky U.S.
Volunteer Infantry Regimental tombstone.
