Grandpa Sanders was of Scots/Irish descent as told by my great grandmother.
He married Cynthia Ann, no last name. They had Isaac, William, James, Almon,
George, Tom, Martha, Ann, Mary and Bettie Trammell. My great great grandfather
was Isaac Sanders, who married Hattie Rose. That may or may not have been
her last name. Isaac and Hattie had Cynthia, Robert, Mary, Theodosius,
Beauregard, Hattie, Sue and Sam. Sam was my great grandfather. Sam married
Molly J. Merrick and lived around Myrtle, MS. They haf Washington Van Buren
Sanders, Harvey Isaac and Esthma. Washington worked on the railroad in
Oklahoma and Amory, MS. He married Emma Ann Clegg and had two children,
Halley Haywood and Doris Oleta. Halley Haywood is my father. The info I
had was very old and hard to read. My grandmother told me we were Scots/Irish/Indian.
