I recently posted the surnames that I am researching on several of the
genealogy sites that I belong to and have received some negative feed
back to my use of Roll Call in the subject line, and I don't understand
'why'.

I have not been doing this on a regular basis that long, but, I was told
that when you want to get a response from other members, as to whom they
are researching - as well as sharing your surname list, that 'Roll Call'
is what it is called.

It was not my intention to cause problems, just to share and receive
information.
