Here is the latest information I have found’Ķ

In the 1850 and 1860 census, William Sanders is listed with a wife
named Nancy. Sometime after 1860, Nancy died (I have seen one post
on this newsgroup that lists her death date as 1 Jan 1865). Then on
13 May 1868 William married a Mrs. Susan Adams. This marriage took
place at L.F. Sanders in the presence of W.T. Sanders, L.F. Sanders,
John Long, and Sarah Sanders. In 1880 the Livingston County, KY
census lists William as 74, Susan as 50, Laura as 9, and Charles H.
as 7. This is my Charles Hubbard and his sister Laura (when I
mentioned that name, my dad recognized it immediately). Even with
all this I was still unsure whether your William Thomas and my
Charles Hubbard were related, but then I found a funeral home record
from Kennedy Funeral Home in Livingston County, KY. This record was
for Willie Rachel Sanders, daughter of John Samuel and Ciby Driskill
Sanders, John of course was William Thomas’Äô brother. This record
lists C.H. Sanders as an uncle to Willie,!
and Laura Warner as an aunt to Willie, so in my opinion this gives
us a firm link between our families. Charles Hubbard was in fact
William Thomas’Äô brother, just separated by a mere 37 years.

Also, I found a record, which I cannot confirm it is in fact our
William Sr., but I believe it is, that lists him signing a marriage
certificate for his sister, Susan Sanders. This was in 1832. She
was marrying Hamlet Ferguson.

Now I am trying to find Sarah Adams parents and William Thomas’Äô
parents. I believe Susan Adams had been married before due to the
use of Mrs. In her marriage record with William.

If I find anything else I will let you know.
