My name is Annette, and I've been researching my SANDERS family for almost 25 years. Thanks for your inquiry concerning the SANDERS name in Germany. I have looked mostly to England as the origin of my family name back to 1600. Before that, maybe they were in Germany, because we know that the Anglo-Saxons invaded England in 450 A.D. I personally have made no connections there, but it would be an interesting study. Do you have a living SANDERS male cousin (no matter how distant) who is descended from an unbroken line of SANDERS men? If so, perhaps you could encourage him to join our SANDERS surname DNA project to see if he can find a match with someone there.
