I've posted my connection to the Sandlin name several times before, and
except for other descendants of Nelly who know no more than I about her
parentage, I've gotten nowhere. But I'm not discouraged, so here I go
again.

Nelly was born in 1763, possibly North Carolina, married Joseph Moss in
1785. They lived in York County (in the portion which is now Cherokee
County), South Carolina. Some people believe that she was the daughter of
William Sandlin, but listings of his children do not include her name.

I'll be happy to hear from anyone, with any theories, ideas, suggestions,
or even someone with the answer to the puzzle. I'm not proud!!!!
