Am looking for any info. on Cynthia SANFORD-SANDFORD
who supposedly married an Ephraim WINTHROP, both born
in Rhode Island. Ephraim supposedly died abt. 1897 in
St. Louis, MO and Cynthia died in 1904 in St.Louis.
A
Their son, Paul LeRoy WINTHROP, born 6 Nov 1890 in
Providence, RI--gives this information on his parents
in his death certificate in 1939 in Hannibal, MO and
his WWI military records. He had a brother named
Archie Sanford WINTHROP, b. abt 1892
I've checked many RI Records: census, city
directories, various Internet sites, etc. and found no
mention at all of this couple. I read through every
Sanford family in the 1870 RI Census and again no
Cynthia Sanford. Would appreciate any help. Thanks, Renee
