Compatriots..During a time when there is so much discussion about membership
and the youth of today who are the SAR leaders of tomorrow; I must relate the
following: I contacted the VASSAR in Richmond to request Youth Applications
for my three minor grandsons. They do not have any. I then called our
National H.Q. in Louisville. The person who answered was Barbara. Although
very nice, she insisted I needed a CAR application which I do not. She
passed me to someone named Jessie. Jessie said he did not know where they
might be; that it was Joyce's responsibility. I asked to speak with Joyce
and learned she is out till next Monday. Jessie said the applications were
not in the Merchandise Center and in fact he said he didn't think any had
been reprinted.
Need I say more.
