Compatriots,

Would one of you have any information on the service
of Robert Andrew McClain, b. 1746 in NC and d. 1807 in
Knox County, TN?

Records show him residing in Guilford/Randolph County,
NC during the Revolution. He was High Sheriff of
Randolph County from 1779 through 1790.

One of his descendants claims that Robert was a
Captain under Lt. Col. John Paisley.
