I see that I skipped a generation. Michael Wayne Cobb was, as the obit
says, s/o VIRGIL Cobb and GRANDSON of Joseph Cobb. Sorry to cause
confusion.

Michael Cobb

Michael Wayne Cobb, 54, of Corbin, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2005
in Baptist Regional Medical Center.

The son of the late Virgil L. and Wanda Colleen Gentry Cobb, he was
born March 13, 1951 in Corbin. He was a diesel mechanic with Whayne
Supply of Corbin and of the Christian faith.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Saylor Cobb of Corbin; one son,
Clay Cobb of Lexington; one brother, Walter L. Cobb and wife Judy of
Cincinnati, Ohio; two nieces,, Lesley Davis and husband Shannon of
Loveland, Ohio and Krisi Balla of Portsmouth, Va.; father and
mother-in-law, Henry C. and Anna Sue Saylor of Corbin; two
sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Beverly and Robert Frost of
Corbin and Pam and Mark Sinaguglia of Inglewood, Calif.; and a host of
family and friends who mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Corbin Funeral
Home
chapel with Rev. Bennie Bush and Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
Burial will be in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Corbin
Funeral Home.

Corbin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, Byron L. Schiesz,
director.
