Hello Janice

My GGrandfather was a George Saunders. The dob that you have given (1850) is about right as that would make him 38 yrs when my grand father was born on December 10, 1888 in Whitchurch R.S.D. Hereford.

George married a Emily Jane Bishop (year not known).

George was a carpenter at the time my grandfather was born.

My grandfather's name is Frederick Henry Saunders.

Hope this helps as I have come to a dead (no pun intended) end in trying to find info on George as to his parents etc.
