I am no relation but it appears it may be possible there was another
Wade
Hampton Saunders family tree. The obituary you cited shows Charlotte
Estelle Campbell Saunders died in Amherst. A check of the SSDI reveals
the
following:

Name: Wade H. Saunders
SSN: 224-14-6550
Last Residence: 24521 Amherst, Amherst, Virginia, United States of
America
Born: 22 Feb 1914
Died: 21 Jan 1990
State (Year) SSN issued: Virginia (Before 1951

Perhaps this is her husband.
