I'm new to the Sawyer list and hope that someone might be able to help me
with my husband's Sawyer families.
I don't have much info. on them. Ansel Sawyer b. abt.1834 in Ala., Mar. 18
July 1843 in Bibb Co., Ala. to Mary Timmons (according to family), Mary
Kinard (according to Bibb Co. marriage records) b.1838, Tn. Only know of
one child born to Ansel & Mary- Barry Alexander Sawyer b.20 Apr. 1858,
Fulton, Itawamba Co.,Mississippi. Barry mar. also in Itawamba Co., 9 Nov.
1876 to Susie A. E. Browning. He died 25 Dec. 1944 in Visalia, Tulare Co.,
Ca. Children born to Barry & Susie were: Molisey Elizabeth (my husband's
grandmother), Mary, Pauline & Ben.
