Has anyone on the list been able to trace back to these two William Sawyers,
evidently father and son.

Land Patent 7, page 18: William Sawyer of Gloster County, planter, son and
heir of William Sawyer, late of the sd. county, plter. decd 3 Jany 1679.
New Kent County
850 a ...on south side of Pasqutank Swamp.

Patent 9 p. 422 William Sawyer Gloucester County 24 Oct 1701 400 a. Escheat
Land. Lately in the possession of Thomas Hughs, dec'd.

This is all I know at present about these Williams. If anyone is descended
from these fellows, I would appreciate hearing from them.
