I have 2 William OWENS in SC in 1820 census head of household only; one in
Abbeville & one in Charleston, St James, Goose Creek.
I have no 1830-1850 indexed; mine is only searchable by browsing page by
page.
1860 I have 4 William OWENS. One with the middle initial M & all but one are
white. One in Charleston (black), one in Orangeburg, one in Richland, & one
in Barnwell.
When I tried my search page by page for 1850 Clarendon County was not an
option for SC perhaps that was the name of the town in the county. I would
need the name of the county.
