Have you contacted the Darlington Historical Society? I know that you will
find information on all the names you have mentioned. Mr. Rudisil has
collected info on all families from Darlington over the last 50 years. I
made a copy of the list of all the wills in Darlington from pre-civil war and
after. I have counted 27 Parrott entries some are wills that have been
probated and others are wills that where started but not followed through.
the files will have some info. I noticed that Joseph Parrott had Miller Byrd
as the executor or administrator for his will, you will need this info if
you contact the Society A, 5, 17. This was pre-civil war. There is one
entry for Osborn, John James Russell as executor or administrator A, 4, 47.
There are 27 entries also for Byrd. Miller Byrd had James Parrott as the
executor or administrator for his will A, 2, 59.
I am researching Byrd also but I do not have Miller Byrd in my line I would
like to know more about your Miller Byrds parentage.
