Good morning! Is anyone researching an Evans family? I have 2 lines, one predominantly in Chesterfield Co and the other in Charleston and Richland counties. I wonder if the two are connected.
The Chesterfield Co line begins with Capt Charles Evans b 1745. He fought in the Rev. War. The lother line also begins with a Charles Evans. b ca 1800, who married Susanna Kiel(s) in Charleston in 1836. I have no info on his ancestry. This was a second marriage for Susanna, and may well have been a second marriage for him.

Would love to talk with people researching either Evans line. Will share. chp
