Hendrix - Hendrick - Hendricks - Hendrickson DNA Synopsis

We have proven 3 lines so far. We currently have 31 participants with results completed for 22. We have a North Henry from NC, a William Hendricks of SC, and a James Hendricks of SC among the ones pending. We are trying to get another Albemarle and Pamunkey Hendrick to flesh out and prove the two lines but no luck so far. The Hendrickson DNA Project has joined forces with the Hendrix, Hendrick, Hendricks DNA Project at http://www.FamilyTreeDNA.com.

We have a line of Hendrick in SC that seems to have come from MA but haven't found two living person yet to prove this line. This has been a line that researchers have ignored forever This is the line of Hendricks; 1. Daniel, 2. John, 3. John, 4. William, Timothy, Daniel and 5. James, William that seems to have come into SC. They are from a group of Religious Dissenters that left MA and came into SC 1694-5 and settled in the Colleton Co., SC area. It seems to me the Capt. William Hendricks listed in Francis Marion's Brigade (along with other Christ Church Parish men) was from this group of SC Hendricks. Some others have claimed him but don't know where he came from. He shows in the book by Gregg on History of the Old Cheraw's.

The lineages that we have proven so far are;

1.. Frontier Hendricks; one Pa, one VA, and one AL; with 3 matches. No typical Haplotype, Frontier Hendricks data suggested Western Europe - not shown in typical Haplotype, but SNP test being run to determine Haplotype.
2.. James Hendricks m Jane of SC with two matches of known cousins. Typical Haplotype shows Western Europe.
3.. Moses Hendricks m Susanna of SC with two matches of known cousins. Typical Haplotype shows Eastern Europe, different from their family history.

Others:

1.. A Daniel Hendrick of MA m 1642 Dorothy Pike who matches first 12 markers to 3 others (Typical Haplotype - Nordic) but other three do not have their lineage back beyond 4 generations. Looking for another living Daniel Hendrick match. Typical Haplotype Nordic which is contrary to family history.
2.. An Albemarle (NC) Hendricks but no other matches. Typical Haplotype Eastern Europe. Contrary to Frontier Hendricks research.
3.. A Pamunkey (Virginia) Hendrick but no other matches. No typical Haplotype. SNP test shows Nordic which is contrary to generations of Virginia Family History.
4.. Match of two Hendrix - Hendricks known Cousins but only back 4 generations. No typical Haplotype.
5.. A Henry Hendricks b 1720 of NJ but no matches. Typical Haplotype Western Europe which matches family history.
6.. More with no matches to date.
God Bless.
