Jimmy,

I also descend from the KINGs in the Belton area. There were two Roberts
(father and son) who came over from Ireland approx. 1770. Robert I was
born 1730 in Ireland, died 6 MAR 1797 Belton, SC. Robert II was born 9
NOV 1750 in Ireland, died 13 DEC 1826 in think in Belton also. He was
married to Tabitha Dolby.

I assume you're looking for the children of Robert II and Tabitha. They
did have 23 children, 21 of whom lived to maturity.

I have all my info at home, including copies of two books about this
family. I'll generate a report and send it to you.

You can see my direct line of Kings on my website at
http://www.geocities.com/BourbonStreet/2412/genealogy/genhome.html
You should also visit Joseph Harris' page at
http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/h/a/r/Joseph-Robert-Harris/GENE6-0001.html

I don't believe he has the entire descendants lines on his site, either.
I have them in the books, although I've been told the books have some
errors.

Joseph Harris has also seen a reference in the Anderson County library
that says the Kings came from Ulster.

I'll be back in touch soon,
Susan
