My copy of "Settlement of Pendleton District, South Carolina, 1777-1800" by
Frederick van Clayton was lost in my "genealogy" room when I first answered
your e-mail. Last night I finally found it and checked for Anthony Burrows
as well as for 6 Mile Creek. No Burrows by any spelling is listed either
as owning land or in the list of inhabitants in 1790. Only 10 people are
listed as living on 6 mile creek - no Burrows. You can mark this book off
your list of places to try!
