Just a knee-jerk observation...1784-5 is an alarm bell for Rev War pension
bounties. Remember GA allowed land bounties to soldiers of any state plus
citizens...in some cases, the latter got land just for not interferring ! A
key might be the amount of acreage as amts were set by rank etc. Maryellen
