I am looking for help finding any info on a William KING and his wife
Frances MORRIS. Both were b. bet. 1760 and 1770. I believe both were
from Anderson Co but also lived in Spartanburg Co for many years. I
find them on the Spartanburg Co census for 1790 to 1830. William KING
was a minister at Head of Enoree Baptist Church in the late 1790s. He
was also active in Big Creek Baptist Church in the early 1790s. My
ggg-grandfather Elijah WADE was living with them at the taking of the
1830 Spartanburg Co census.
The central question is why was he living with them? Are they related?
