Hi Barbara. I am related to the CLINKSCALES. You don't mention them in
your email. Did you have Clinkscales family in Anderson SC?

Surname: Brownlee, Bonner, Richey, Caldwell, Clinkscales
-------------------------
My husbands ancestor was James Brownlee who came to Due West from Belfast,
Ireland. He came with his brother, John, and his family. James must have
been widowed and brought three children with him, Jane, George, and John.
He later married Sarah Trimble (widow) and had William, Elizabeth, and
James. George, Sr. and George, Jr. are our ancestors. I have not been able
to connect James to his parents in Ireland. I am hoping that he is connected
to the Brownlee's of Torfoot, Scotland. Any help appreciated.
Also there is a connection through the Caldwells to John C. Calhoune and
I would like to know about this line.
