Well Jane... here goes...

The only thing I found about Andrew McComb, page 200, is that he witnessed the will of Mary Mulland at Abbeville SC.

Page 177:
John McComb was a buyer at the sale of the estate of John Montgomery at Ninety-Six District, SC.

Page 178:
Moore, Allen. Box 58, Pack 1386. Probate Judge Office. Abbeville, S.C. Abbeville Dist. Admnr. bond. We Robert McComb, Joseph R. McComb, John Chevis and John McComb who are bound unto Moses Taggart, Ord. in the sum of $1,000. Dated this 30 Oct. 1826. Sale held 9 Nov. 1826. Buyers, A. Laughlan, Robert McComb, Philip Leroy, Margaret Moore, Wm. Calhoun, John Glasgo, John Johnson, Adam Cole, George Crawford, Levi Hilbern, John McCelvy, Dyonetias Rogers, William H. Moore, James Hogan.

Upper Long Cane Cemetery
McCombs, Jannah wife of Wm. McCombs died 31 May 1864, age 79.

Page 71:
John McCombs was on the jury for the trial of O. Earley Crane who was indicted for the murder of W. Franklin Crane. The fight was over some pigs.
